Hotel Confort - Cluj-Napoca

The room was clean, well decorated and very confortable. The quality-price relationship is excelent.

The hotel is very close to the road.

Its fantastic, central location was a plus. We got a room with a walk-in shower.

It is a good hotel if you are a young couple or on a business trip. I do not recommend it to families with young children, though.

We travelled with 2 young children, one of them 14 months old infant. We reserved a cot with 2 months in advance, and it was confirmed. However, when we got there, there wasn’t any cot and we were told they never had a cot in the hotel. When they have requests, they would normally hire one. But somehow they forgot to check the reservation and did not realize they had a cot request! They gave us the apartment, however it did not help as my 14 months old is not used to sleeping in a big bed so she had difficulties settling down. None of us got really any sleep and we had to get up at 3 am as we had a 6 am flight to London. As we made the reservation with 2 months in advance, we did not expect to have any nasty surprises. If they could not provide us with a cot, they should have either email us or phone us so we can make other arrangements. I did not expect for a hotel of such calibre to be so unreliable. They also don’t have a high chair in the restaurant. I think they should say on the website that they do not cater for families with young children at least we know and don’t consider it.

Perfect room at a very reasonable price.

The breakfast should be skipped... Go for a café in the town instead.

Price was good, it was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was fairly good.

Noise from the highway. Not so disturbing at night but can be a problem if you go there and stay in the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Confort and Cluj. Superior room was very spacious, nice decorated, fully equipped and clean, staff was helpful. Hotel is situated only 8 minutes walk from city center which is full of nice caffe bars and tavernas. Strongly recommended!

The hotel is very close to city center - walking distance. The room was very nice, modern, clean with a fresh look. The name "Confort" really fits with the hotel. They have also a parking place free of charge. The price is also very good if you consider the location.

Very nice hotel, extremly clean, nice staff, good food, good location 10 walking to downtown. We definetly recommend this hotel and we will return there.

New Hotel , close the city center ,

comfortable hotel , 15 mins walk from city centre. decent rooms. good breakfast. 3 persons rooms can be or with or a sleepcoach (but larger room) or 3 separate beds

Here's my point of view

The spacious and clean twin room was a delight, complemented by excellent housekeeping. With a great breakfast offering variety, including warm options, my stay was enjoyable. Noise from the street was a downside, and the parking situation is challenging. Despite these issues, it's a solid choice for visitors.

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English (our Romanian was fairly poor). We turned up at the wrong time on the wrong date and they were extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. They also had a computer (with internet) that was free to use. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay and both were entirely satisfactory. The hotel is also within walking distance of the city centre and has a very good oriental restaurant next door.

The rooms were quite big and the location was within five minutes of the national theatre.

I thoroughly enjoyed the business trip and would consider staying here again. Had very enjoyable stay in this well-kept hotel, the staff were helpful, location was perfect close to the old town. The breakfast was great with every item wrapped up like in a plane and every taste, had everything you could want. Location: the venue was near to centre, the center of Cluj and Romania...
